local b14 SS bad gas mileage GA15

The car has an unknown history

It originally came with a Ga16 down draft intake

Engine was replaced with a Ga15 after head gasket blew

The original owner never checked mileage.

however now is 200-240 km with a full tank

timing , full service , injectors cleaned etc did not help

What else to look for ?

Did these engine come with an O2 sensor ?

yeah, they came with a single wire 02 sensor , cant miss it on the exhaust manifold
any exhaust leaks?
how is the engine power?

hoss, do a compression test
i recently had to change a qg16
after trying everything in the book for bad gas mileage, and power loss
the mech decided to do a compression test and it showed one cylinder almost dead

also maybe if u can get a throttle body/distributor borrowed to try
i have a spare distributor if u interested
