I've tried almost everything I can think about...
can someone please throw some ideas on what I can do to STOP this MISS

art n motion had a similar persistent problem and it turned out to be the wiring to the coil packs (bad ground).

do a diagnostics check on teh ECU and it will tell you the error code and the FSM will tell you how to fix it ;)

It could be allot of things or a combo of things, from dirty afm, to faulty O2 sensor even a coil pack harness propblem, get the CA18DET FSM anyway, it will help you out a tonne

does it misfire constantly? or just going into boost?
also does it persist after the car gets warm?
sounds like a coil pack problem to me.. had the same one a while aback...
take it down and chec it..
look up on the net for ways to clean them if u cant afford to replace them...
i cah remember buh i paid 1something for one when i was replacin them

air flow could be bad or crank angle sensor or up your fuel,had same problems

chinee you kinda late on this problem dread, no need to dig up threads like this unless its from the original poster still looking ofr help, or someone else with the smae problem trying to diagnose a problem.
