Never heard of this. Also abs sensors shouldn’t get that much product on them anyway plus they are designed to take jamming ….. is it possible that you are using an inferior replacement ?

I looked up in abs sensors and why they become damage...its due to harsh environmental conditions like dust. I always been parked by a trailer truck company and the area is always a dusty environment . And the area is prone to flooded easily...so wheels are prone to being dirty easy. Villagers have been complaining to them about it. So that can be one of the causes.

The other one could be relational to the dust is that I have been washing my wheels too harsh and directly with a pressure nozzle ( not a pressure washer). So it probaby pushing up the dirt there deteriorating the sensors.

So far I have not used any harsh cleaners and i carefully wash my wheels delicately with no water spray..so far so good.

are you using OEM sensors?
Could be poor quality substitutes.

A dirty tone wheel also reads as a bad sensor. The only way to tell is to physically inspect it.

tone wheels and some sensors are pretty sensitives, I came across some ABS sensors with two small prongs exposed where it comes close to the tone wheel, usually, these break down easily. Tone wheels usually clean up with a mild wire brush and some aerosol spray.
