That's my point kronik... That same thermoquiet is like 40usd in the states.... I know you can't compare prices directly, but it is a mid-priced pad in the US, not a very expensive pad like what it is marketed as in Trinidad...

That being said, glad you like it.. It is a very good OEM style pad, but I still rate the akebono above it if you can find it next time.. I doubt it'll be more (I hope not anyway)

How does the Hi-Q compare to the Mintex (red box) and the Wagner quickstop; In terms of stopping power and longevity.
I don't care as much about dust.

I was told Hi Q was original to Korean cars namely Hyundai and Korean. I bought a set for a service and the original pads removed had all the same markings and pad material was virtually identical.
Owner reports same braking as with older set and wheels seem to dust same. I would be inclined to say they are a good pad for everyday use given what was reported.

Can't speak for Hi-Q, never used

Can say that Mintex definitely has a lot more "bite" than wagner quickstop but dusts about 10x as much haha. Really depends on the vehicle and what you want/how often you want to be cleaning wheels

I used Mintex pads on my SG5 and yes they do throw a whole lot of dust, but they did give better stopping power than Wagner Quikstop. I used Hi-Q (korean brand) on my CS3 and those have been pretty good, can't really complain about the dust and it stops relatively good. Albeit the driving styles on both those vehicles would have differed immensely.
