Car resets while driving?

Postby kevk3v » May 15th, 2016, 4:33 pm

Sometimes while driving looks like all the electrical in the car shuts off then gets restarted immediately, I can see the RPM bouncing up and down before everything comes back on that's when the pedal responds again, this happens for like 3 seconds each time...
It's an Almera, I think it's the alternator but I don't see any battery light. What do you think this is?
It happened about 3 times last week. thought I should ask before I buy parts!

Hey can the battery wires being slack cause this? I tightened it and It never happened recently.

Yep...constant power is interrupted once contact to the poles is lost...and bumpy roads dont help

Hopefully its as simple as that
