Almera temp problem

Postby smily245 » March 20th, 2016, 5:35 pm

Hey guys I have an Almera that the temperature gauge is going beyond the half way point till 3 quarter then the radiator fans will come on and cool it back to half, could it be the brain or the sensors causing this?

Possibly a stuck thermostat, bad grounding or temp sending unit. The later two are the most likely.

had similar probs and it turned out to be the radiator, it could be partially blocked inside causing improper water flow
got it cleaned for 1 something and no probs since
if the rad cap looks browish/dirty you should look into that as well
