can heat wrapping a cai improve performance?

i kno bout heat wrapping headers
cai not sure if any performance gain but if its close to the engine wrapping the pipe might help keep the air that enters cooler.

maybe it will .....as it keeps the hot air from getting to the intake pipe :)

yes, it does cool it alot. before i wraped mine i could not even touch the intake pipe. now, even if you take it off, its very cool.trust me it does work.

what about the plastic intake barrel? i think they even more heat resistant.
