WTK: How to protect against/ slow down seablast effect?

Postby fearsaga15 » April 23rd, 2015, 10:17 am

Guys, need some advice here!

I have a 2013 Rav4 and I drive to Galeota everyday for work. I know eventually the seablast would damage the paint on the vehicle so I'd like to get some form of protection or slow down the process. Are there any products I can use off the shelf or companies which apply protective coatings?
I called Ziebart in Sea Lots..they don't offer any coatings to deal with seablast specifically..only bugs, bird droppings, acid rain but they said it would slow down the effects of seablast..that coating is priced at $1750 +vat, takes about 3-4 hours to apply and should be re-applied every 5 years.

Just wondering what options are out there for exterior/engine bay protection. I don't have time to wash the vehicle everyday so something that lasts a bit longer would be ideal.
Any advice/recommendations are welcomed.

Thanks!

Why don't you contact Karim Khan, professional detailer, on the forum for his recommendations? He has a thread somewhere with the services that he offers.
