Reverse parking sensors on metal bumpers

Is there any recommended tricks to get them to work reliably on a metal bumper ?

I installed some and they were tripping,
I put silicone on the back to stick them down and seem to be working fine now.

Sensors have a "dis side up" marking. Make sure all are installed top side facing up. Had that same problem with navara. Blasted installers never sealed sensors properly and one was shifting out of line. Sad thing is it was "professionally installed" by massy during vehicle purchase Christmas
