b14 knocking engine noise need help!!!

ok folks so when my b14 is in idle it sounds like a dam trackter also when i accelerate i get a knockin same trackter noise until i change a gear and then it continues was goin and do an oil change and engine flush to see if it would work any ideas

connecting rod bearing or main bearing most likely is damage.....

Could be timing chain too.

well i changed the tensioner today and the rattle stoped when idling but i'm getin the noise when accelerating now

At what rpm does the noise come in while you're accelerating?

Aside from the probability it might be timing chain or noisy tappets. Try something here, since you said the noise stopped on idle, but still there on acceleration.

Leave the car, let it sit overnight on a flat surface. When you start up in the morning, listen carefully for the same noise and observe if it stops as soon as the oil light on the instrument cluster goes out.
If this happens, you're looking at worn bearings. Rebuild or replace the block.
