CAR WON"T START WITH AC ON!

So recently I've noticed that my car won't start if I left the AC on when I shut off.
With ac on ,it tumbles, struggles then dies.

Any thoughts before i haul her ass off to the electrician?

While i have the floor another issue popped up
I'm able to control all four windows from the driver side console
but i get nothing at all from the passenger side and 2 back windows
think i'm gonna check strippy in charlieville if i can't sort this one out for myself
again any thoughts would be appreciated

You should remove all necessary electrical load off the battery before attempting to start your car pal.

^^^that's a given i know . sometimes you forget (old age and all)
but dying ? that shouldn't happen. so i think its symptomatic of a bigger issue that i need to address before it comes back to bite me in the butt

What about your battery?how old is it?check the battery water?how long the problem occurring?

Won't get a chance to get to the mechanic before weekend . Battery is 1 year old . activated oct 2011.
That was actually my first thought. Water levels are fine.Hoping its a battery issue and nothing more serious

could be that the clutch in your ac compressor is sticking so the engine is trying to turn over and turn on the ac at the same time

with A/C on, tumbles / struggles / dies. IACV maybe dirty or stuck.

I see someone mention electrical load. In this heat A/C on and remote start are a god send.
relays should handle that iirc.

Once the engine starts, when you put the a/c on, does the engine shut off?

^^^ once the engine starts car works absolutely fine...ac does too
