4g15 HELP!!!

Postby stiffmeister » January 14th, 2012, 6:44 pm

My car broke down yesterday, d transmission gone... its a 2006 model all wheel drive with a 4g15 engine... can anyone help me.. my options are:

1. source an all wheel drive gearbox.

2. source another transmission.

3. remove the drive shaft & put in a 2 wheel gearbox.

4. slap in a evo engine & gearbox (which may need a lot of conversions & i doh have enough money for dat).

can anyone help me make my decision?? i may need an average price though, for whichever decision...

1, 2, &3 are feasible, drive through the bamboo and look around, forget calling, you usually get wrong information over the phone.

^^ do that

but find out exactly what you got? eg gdi non gdi ect cvt non cvt before searching

try taking some pics of your engine so you can compare and show exactly what you got or get correct model #'s
