If i'm not mistaken the 13b-rew is the series 6 engine. what kind of major mods does he plan to do? If he's looking at anything over 400 horses he needs to get the 13b-rew. There are a lot of fellas running different engine management types with mixed reviews on them, talk to them first. The 16th for the test and tune should be a good place to meet some of them.

You will get differing perspectives on this topic. I run HALTECH on mine :fadein:

haltech is the best i've heard of for rotaries anyway...but yeah man..if is over 400 i would say go get the REW engine (from a 3rd gen.) ...by major mods what u mean?...like single/large turbo upgrade n stuff?.....cause u dont have to go stand alone management...piggyback to override limiters and fine tune could be sufficient....but make a pass in wid him for test and tune man! 8)

you definitely will get differing perspectives. We were running Haltech, we now run Wolf 3d.Easier to tune and the peformance increase speaks for itself.

Wolf 3D is quite a good system. If the buget permits after my other upgrades, I might consider changing from HALTECH to Wolf. But for a daily driver I havent had any problems with HALTECH.

Anil is a good rotary mechanic, but I suggest you check Sean to do aftermarket ECU tuning for the rotors.

Or perhaps you can check Dale. I believe Solo will be able to help you with his contact information.

^^^^^^Nope, not Jim Wolf. Wolf 3d is an Austrailian brand engine management.
Check this website http://www.wolfems.com.au/home and waynespeed.com for more info.
