When a hot engine is hard to start, most of the causes are fuel related problems. Fuel cannot circulate well due to the way in which vapor blocks it. As a result, the engine would not start as easily as it should. In worse cases, it would not start at all. This happens if the engine is extremely hot. I would start by cleaing injectors, chaing plugs, if u havent done that already, ensure ur fuel pump is working properly. I am assuming that u had an over heating problem hence y u changed the cylinder head gasket however u shud make sure u find the problem y u had to change that the first place, re check radiator, fan clutches and make sure they work properly, also use a good engine coolant, (nut a cheap one u that u get by the palour)......i am nut a mechanic, so i dont relly know wats happening...anyway good luck
PS...nex time post troubleshooting in the toyota forum, u wud get a much better responce....
