HELP HELP -High pitch noise at idle disap. at accel.

getting a high piched whistle like sound at idle in my cs3, very irritating!!
as soon as i rev it stops, as i let go it starts back after about 3 secs..
i think its a vaccum leak somewhere , anyone has any advice??????

can be the belts in the car may need checking to see if they are good

not d belts, it comin from around d back of d engine on d driver side by d intake.. really sounding like a sucking noise through a small hole , but i juus wana know if anyone ever had dat problem too

Check all your lines for cracks or holes, also teh throttle body for damaged gasket or improperly placed plastic intake hose.

Get someone to rev teh engine while you listen for the leak, could be anything, even an overtightened hoseclip that cut into the hose.

wen i rev d engine d noise stops.. or softens so low dat d engine noise covers it up.. but wen idling its real loud, u can hear d high pitched whistle from inside d house wen d car outside..

well then leave the car idling and check everything and see if you can figure out where the sound is coming from.

Turned put to be the alternator... something not right on the inside
put a long screwdriver on it and listened and nearly went deaf...
