wtk the legal color bulbs for head light and park lights

am halogen bulbs are generally a yellowish. and the xenon are ah bit blue white. but if you going hid 6000k or 8000k with the led park white bulbs. anything other than that the po po gonna get you. basically anything lookin yellow red green blue purple illegal

as far as i know, cars that come with hid is in the 4300 temp range and it is closest to daylight. 6000 starts to look blue-ish

have 6000k kit and it dimond white and the 8000k has a hint of blue. but it depends on the manufacturer. chinese kits 6000k are blueish. dual star has good kits phillips and come with a 6mths warrenty. have on 2yrs now no probs

No HID's are not illegal.The authorities don't have a way to measure the intensity of the light so,as a guide the more blueish the light appears the greater the the chance of them giving you a hard time about it becomes.Generally I think 6000k is a safe bet.

all of the 6000k i've seen were blue...guess people only buying cheap knock off!

if so the 4300k is almost like the halogen lamp colour

4300 is white, just white, no other descriptives needed like diamond. My wife's fielder came factory hid and it does not blind oncoming cars, there is no blue-ish colour. The fogs are regular bulbs and they look yellow compared to the hid. Light is for safety not style

none of the HiD's are illegal, its just that the discomfort for the on coming driver you have to have consideration for, park lights also have to be clear, any other color will get you a ticket.

*sigh* "diamond white" this and "snow white" that...just so you know, 4300K and sometimes 6000K are the colour temperatures chosen for factory installed HID systems that DO NOT blind oncoming traffic...be advised.
