Ek 3 suspension problem

Dear Tuner friends I have an 1999 ek3 civic and recently changed out the complete suspension and installed Tokico shocks ,complete polyurthane bushing kit [Energy Suspension & Prothane ] and some TEIN lowering springs. The problem I am having is whenever I drive through a depression there is a loud bang to the front of the car . Is there anyone who encountered this problem ? and what advice can you give ?

Are you seeing any cuts in the front tyres? I know it is possible for the front tyres to come up and impact under the fender.. Did you make sure everything was well tightened after the installs?

There are no cuts in the tyres. I was there during and after the installation and everything was tightened but I could have it rechecked.

Do you think its your velocity joints, i had a problem like that and it was the joints. Also you sure the bushings were lubed properly remember the bushing make noise if not lubed properly, i would try spraying them with silicone spray.

did u install bump stops in the new shocks???....also try and tighten the nut thats on the top of the shocks

i did the exact work on dec 21st....tokicos/energy bushings...but i find the ride is still really rough...i have a 99 ek hatch as well.

Now i'm thinking whether to use springs or coilovers to lower?
