Cs3 04 lancer Vibration

Postby mitsubishi_04lancer » December 20th, 2010, 10:58 am

hey Guys..

I have a 04 CS3 lancer... on some 18" chromes... tires diamondback 225/35/18
I recently had change the four engine mounts an i been getting alot of vibrations...
the whole car vibrates the most at 80km... i had my mounts double check by another mechanic an i had my ends an ball joints n bushing checked.. all is good..

had these 18" last yr Christmas ... i change the mounts about 5 months ago.. even when the mounts were bad i never got vibrations like this... (only wen i mash gas at a stand still.... the engine usted to make a noise.. an rock) so i change the mounts..

Any suggestions on what could this be...

Had this vibration problem a few years ago. Changing mounts didn't help.

Turned out to be a bad inner joint on a front axle. Wheel alignment place had picked up on that.
