powersteering nosie help

Postby turboturnsmeon2 » September 20th, 2010, 7:33 pm

recently change power steering high pressure line witgh one that was "remade at trinidad hose" didnt really bleed the system since i read online that if you turn the steering all the way left and then right the air should come up in the powersteering fluid bottle .

did that and its making a humming sound .

can anyone make some suggestions to help fix this

this happened to a civic I had, ended up having to rechange the hose, dont know it it was defective but the sound was frustrating. If it doesnt go away then u may have to change it.

it's because of the re-made line, and the noise doesn't go away....honestly don't know why that happens ...changed high pressure lines in two vehicles and went oem because of that condition....and the p/s system is designed to bleed itself and all air should leave the system as you drive.

what vehicle btw?
