VRG Galant 4g93 converted to SR20--gauges don't work.HELP!!

Postby maxx2gr8 » March 2nd, 2010, 3:58 pm

recently converted my VRG Galant from stock 4g93 engine and transmission to SR20 engine and transmission. Car runs quite well but my gauges don't work. The speedometer works but gives inaccurate readings, the tachometer does not work at all.Is there anyone who can get these gauges in working order again? what are my options? :?: :?: :?: :?:

why dont you just change the instrument panel to a cerfiro or almera.
the cerfiro will work better without any mods to your dashboard.

hey maxx2gr8 ,
How the sr20 swap coming. I got a Hyundai sonata that came with a 4g63 and swapped it with a SR20. Send a pic of what it looks like . Did you get the wiring sorted out?
What about the CV jointsdid you get them straight?

Maximus be careful you get charge for speeding, but carry the car by Hollis in Ghandi Village and he will send you to his electrician to sort it out

Diamond Motors sells a special junction box for these conversions.

Here is the part number MD133043.
