E -Trottle are very expensive and I would not recommend that is something you experiment with. Pay $150 and get it done right everytime, which is a whole lot cheaper, than complete replacement. Remember, that there is always a disclaimer, for such info ( DO AT YOUR OWN RISK).

^^^agreed....but the procedure stated in the link is also recommended by nissan and stated in their service manuals as one to do without scan tool.
