Gal pipe = no no in my books

350 grade mild steel pipe as a minimum for drag cars, 1020 grade minimum pipe for a circuit car

Have built a few roll cages so if you have any questions

oh and go buy a tube notcher, it will make your life sooooooooooo much happier

do it properly and done.

Check men like Team Loco who may be able to advise on the thickness of material.

DONT use muffler pipe like certain other 'racers' in this country.

in general rollcage tube/pipe is about 44mm od with a 3 - 3.2mm wall thickness for main hoops and 32mm od and 3 - 3.2 wall thickness for cross bars/intrusion bars

Molly tube is the same OD but wall thickness is around 1.5 - 2mm
