Tachometer does not cross 4000 rpm

Postby quintessentiallyenigmatic » October 8th, 2009, 8:41 am

guys on a stock 4g92 sohc fi engine is it normal whilst driving for your tach to never cross 4000 rpm i'm talking about floor to board (only for testing out this issue) driving tach not crossing
only when in P or N do i ever see my tach crossing to red line
if this isn't normal what could be the problems & solutions if any.

no CEL light on last time i did a scan was the VSS but changed that sensor & everything normal
but take in consideration that even before & after changing sensor & doing the scan this was happening(not crossing 4000 rpm)
