i meant the one that the one that make that time was about that displacement. Sure you can go ask a vagrant the displacement on a 2JZ or a RB and he will be able to tell you

ill try and find the vidz for you but i remember a 2jz doin high 6s or something not in a supra tho. i think the fastest supra is 7secs tho.

fastest skyline i think is the white R32 that said to be doin 1700HP and can do 2200+HP but traction issues.

im a skyline fanboy so my thoughts on the battle might not be taken seriously  but i fine the supra is a dyno queen. seen 700HP skylines rip up 1000HP supras.

In 2007 the Heat Treatments Drag R32 Skyline GT-R driven by Reece McGregor of New Zealand, broke the world record for the fastest AWD over a 1/4 mile with a 7.57 at 305.96 km/h (190.11 mph) at the Willowbank Dragway in Australia, a record previously held by the HKS R33 Skyline GT-R with a 7.67.

Anil_Sooknanan,

some success at Le Mans, with one car achieving 10th overall, and 5th in its GT1 class, being beaten only by the more developed McLaren F1 GTRs. For 1996, the Skyline GT-R LMs would return, this time carrying enlarged RB26DETTs displacing 2.8 litres.

Nissan did a replacement on displacment from the RB26DETT to a 2.8L...so they BROKE THEIR OWN RULE

Although a Supra made it in the 6 seconds category, you all have to respect the Skyline for being heavier and with AWD system to make the 7.67 mark.
And it was bored to 2.8L from a RB26....just a little extra tuning and it could beat the Supra's record of an OVER STROKED ENGINE FROM A 3.0L 2JZ.
:P

Ent the supra that made the 6 seconds category was stroked to 3.4L?
A little 2.8 RB making 7.67 secs.

There was a 1100HP 2JZ Supra back in the late 90's doing 6.63 on pump gas... can't remember which magazine featured it.
