if its a heavy carbon build up on the plug, its not the plug your engine may be running rich using a hotter or different plug wont help that
best you do a full service cleaning throttle body, maf sensor, engine flush etc then change your plugs

in our climate, especially if the base of the ceramic on the plugs is browning quickly, it would be safe, even recommended to use the NGK BKR6E-II

i agree with wagonrunner--i use ngk bkr6e11 it is a cooler plug and works well .don't use the hotter bkr4e11.

I experienced that situation already (still am)...I don't know what is the cause but i never really looked into it. (I use Irridium BKR5E IX btw)

It never bothered me in no way...i would clean the barrel out when ever it got blacked or dirty.

your internals clean but probably not your intake manifold, disconnect the tube from your pvc valve, spray inside the manifold with your choice of carb/throttle body cleaner let it sit for half hour.
re connect the tube and start up you will see a lot of white smoke but take a spin around and that will stop
believe me i thought mine was clean also and i change oil at 3000km
