Car wobbling

any one ever encountered this problem, especially at low speed car feels wobbly on the road...any advice from you experienced guys out there..thanks

wobbling..

that sounds like worn out shocks (dampers) to me.. but if it's a new Vios, i can't see that being possible..

look for something like a bad suspension bushing or suspension component.. and check if any of your rims are bent as well.. hit any big potholes recently?

tires cud be bent too
go to a tire shop an ask dem to chek ur tyres

oh right, bad alignment could be responsible as well.. just recently there was too much toe - in on my Vitara and the vehicle felt unstable while driving at moderate speeds..

if u r feeling the wooble at low speeds when ur foot is on the brake then it may be the rotor is *warped*... may need replacing or machining.
if it is at low speeds and ur foot is not on the brake, it may be due to (as was posted above) the tires being bent or the wheels being bent...

it mostly happens when car is in motion....not pressing brake or accelerator...when its moving forward, i'll do a suspension check and see ..thanks again guys

check suspension, check rims for imperfections, tyres for the same, was car ever in an accident? if so was chassis moved?

check rims, bent one on my lancer and was having similiar problem changed them around and put the ones from the back in front and problem stopped, eventually changed the rims though

it depends on the extent of the bend and the type of rim....

it rell rell easy to repair once you have the money .....mag wheel centre have the time .

make sure you check the road where you are testing it also
certain portions of the road makes issues appear that you wont find elsewhere

going to check suspension friday by laughlin in south...i chose laughlin cause its next door to toyota, just in case any parts need to be replaced

to be honest, my wagon does it at time.
the culprit............tire pressure.
i normally run all 4 between 28-34psi.
yesterday coming through corners on the highway, the feeling i get from teh car has me uncomfortable.
check pressures, the rest in the range, right reat at 21psi.
pressure all to 34psi, and car felt fantastic this morning, and tonight.

wagonrunner, youre absolutely right, culprit was found to be tyre pressue...what i found was strange though i use the recommended tyre pressure from the driver's door and was advised that was too high...33psi in front and 30 psi in the back

also something as simple as the wheel not being properly tightened.
check wheel studs for wear, ball joints, tie rods, steering rack.
