Brake question --- pic

Postby awesomeandre » January 23rd, 2009, 7:13 am

ok i have a problem

i noticed my brake fluid was going down a few days now and pedal also

so when i checked the brake proportion valve aka junction box was leaking

i tried to tighten the brake lines and all was tight

i pumped the pedal several times with engine on and of and i couldnt see actually where it was leaking from but the valve was wet with brake fluid

so here is a pic

and what could be causing this

metal lines could be bad as well as the box itself! :|

Could be the rubbers in the cylinder worn & leaking internally............

dont trow away the old one, try to find the cause of the leak and rectify it......could come in handy in the future.
