megasquirt ecu

can anyone tell me if the megasquirt works good on a sr20 engine i have a roller rocker engine in my b14 sentra i want to use a megasquirt to tune the can so it can work better

megasquirt is the worse standalone i have ever used.

save your money and get something decent

I only know what I have read, and the megasquirt seems workable, but you must have a LOT of knowledge to know what you are doing.

trust me, i do a lot of tuning with various ecu's, including megasquirt....it's trash. there is a reason it's $250US for everything.

^ I believe calum doesn't support that ECU
Maybe nistune type 4 but email them to be sure.

rboy you will have either an ecu with a 20 x 30 header or a half size ecu, if it was an SR20 that was paired with a CVT then it would be a 40 x 2 header and a 5 x1, requiring a special board from Japan.

before buying make sure and get the part number off the ecu and take a couple pics of the insides and send to these guys to let them verify compatibilty.
