current problem

i aint gettin no current to my fuel pump and my a/c compressor wat could be the problem all fuses good and relays clicking also but no current goin to the pump or the compressor what could be causing this

so they just stop working all of a sudden? or you were doing other work on the car?

nah i had just put back up my gearbox and was going for a second test run and while i was parked and idling the car cut off only to realise wasent getting and fuel checked the pump and it working but it not gettin current when i turn on the ignition right now i runnin it direct from the battery

where is the fuel pump relay in a b12 located

could check the ignition switch... well wires running from the ignition switch :?


its a long shot yes but i wouldn't rule it out

fixed fuel pump problem was a wire from the fuel pump relay to the harness was burnt out apperently it got cut and grounded off but still cant find the problem with the ac compressor

well from what your saying its a fuel injected engine right. when you put on the Ac is the rad fans comming on? or the engine idle changes? the ecu controls them both you need to check the connection fro your ac switch to the ecu and then the ecu to the ac relay

well the fans come on but no change in engine idle engine idle changes when the compressor comes on

ok the ECU triggers the fans also the idle up what your saying isn't matching up check back and make sure when the fans come on the engine idles up . Try running a direct wire to the compressor and see if the magnetic clutch engages. if it do trace back the wire to the relay. it's colour coded

ok the fans come on but no idle up ran a direct to the altenator and the compressor kicks in engine idles up like normal but with it direct i cant turn the compressor on and off with the switch from inside traced the wires tothe relay and everything ok relays clicking and everything btw where is the fuse for the a/c located in a b12
