WTK: fuel pellets?

Postby KURMAman » May 3rd, 2007, 11:55 am

somewhere i read about putting pellets in ur gas tank. It helps with combustion...giving a smoother burn and better fuel consumption/economy.
Can anyone give anymore information on this please? thanx:)

old performance trick to boost fuel octane (or get similar effects).. when mothballs were made of naphtalene and not the modern-day p-DCBs. But this only worked for carburetted cars and to be effective, required about 5 crushed mothballs per gallon of gas.

I saw a store with the sigh FLITCH fuel catalysts on the EMR Barataria near SKF. I think that is the brand of the pellet octane booster.
