...it can be done eh...those guys on bajanboost.com have info on a boosted 4a-fe belting out some serious hp so it shouldn't be much diferent rom the 5a-fe...turbo, exhaust manifold, intercooler, fuel controller, bigger injectors...basically your standard turbo project parts list
as per auto tranny, the 5a prolly won't hold up to any kinda serious jammin so a tranny swap is also in the cards
however, the cost involved may run u into the price range of an already boosted transplant engine (4e-fte/4a-gze) that'll be much more reliable and ofer more room or upgrades later on
just weigh ur options carefully
