from what i know
its usually engraved in the back of the rim as well as "made in japan"
for those that i've seen
you can also get the model of the rim and do some research on it as well

x2 it varies depending on the model but the sure cut signs are on the "made in japan" tags, the boxes they come in and look at the way the enkkei is engraved on the rim, the replica's usually look fuzzy with slight discrepancies. The center caps sometimes are diff, comes down to the model you looking at and the replica quality.

The model numbers are also off on the rim, like if its an evo5 in question the replica model number reads evo005 or so.

For those considering Kumho, here is a good chart from them:

Seems like the solus kh17 and the spt have a good blend of performance and comfort (as was said by previous posters)

still looking for a decent set of 215/55/16 or 215/50/16, most places seem to be low on stock of any sizes atm

We have discussed the available 205/55/15 options SO many times on this thread.. Just read back and kurma and skidz will get your answer...

Concerning BF Goodrich, just go on www.tirerack.com and do your own research..
My take? Above average-good tyres but hugely overpriced in Trinidad..

paid 740.00 for the pair which includes new valve stems and speed balancing
tires alone were 680.00

i wont recommend these tires for anyone who drives fast
It doesnt have much grip in the dry both in a straight line and around corners...

In wet however, imo they are a bit better, they resist hydroplaning (probably due to the thread depth and pattern) and feels fairly stable

Becase the KR21's are a luxury touring tyre, with reduced emphasis on outright grip Ride qulaity and zero noise are the focus of that tyre. Plus they tend to come in taller profiles, which reduces stability IMHO.

In other words, you shouldn't expect anything different from that tyre. I used them already, nice ride, but not a very grippy set of rubber.

As with all brands, it depends on the sub-model..

Ask them specifically which BF Goodrich they have in stock and do your research online...
Don't just buy it because of the name...

Damn, you got those too! I feeling left out!

Which submodel of Eagle F1 is that one? They have so many now I think I lost track
I think it is the Eagle F1 GS-D3 and if it is that one you got yourselves some EXCELLENT rubber..
The grip in both wet and dry is supposed to be prodigious!
It makes my Kumho Ecsta SPT feel a bit deficient all of a sudden..

That said, ASL is simply terrible on the phone.. Whichever old sounding woman who answers couldnt even answer basic questions (and would not listen to what I was saying)
