I got a prestige (by audiovox) at maska. I think it was good value for money, paid $517 for it. It has a nice beefy siren, not a tiny one like most alarms. It has the usual functions, open close locks etc (does not work in my car, no power locks) and it kills the power to the starter as well. I supose those are average functions, never realy did research on alarms befor, did not think i needed one!

Alarms with anti-hijack, 3 point immobilization, if you have a turbo car, they have one with a built in Turbo Timer too.

If not Turbo, the 236 Rli with Anti-Hijack is the ticket......
Check them for Insurance acceptance.........

They also have a "stand alone anti hijack" unit which will adapt with any alarm system.

An alarm by itself is useless if someone takes your car away from you while intransit.
