Lol. That's the real model there. Of course it would be nice if you could get it in manual - but you'd have to special order that from the company. Right now I'm only rocking a CK1 1.3L though, so the 2008 is nothing more than a far off dream   :D :D .

I not interested in lancers.

I drive lancers for 10 years.

Local and FU MIVEC.

Very dependable, but low quality and resale value compared to Honda & Toyota.

Nissan getting tief too much.

my pic woulda be the 1.8 civic anyday, but u talk abt yr budget here. the 1.8 corolla sounds like a better buy than the 1.6 civic. but the civic has every thing that the corola has. if the civic is 3-stage VTEC, i would buy the civic over the corolla, if not take the corolla. civics with 3 stage vtec give u a bess ride and look WAYYY nicer than any corolla.

well i can tell you that the new civic has three vtec solenoids, two on the exhaust side and one on the intake but they work a bit differently to the 3 stage setup of the D15B. The new civic has a setup whereby the car is in vtec mode for fuel efficiency and they out of vtec for performance.
