You did not cover the oil Shearing beasts that are Evo's, 1-6 all the sites I visited reccomend oil changes with Synthetic oil atleast evey 5000Km.

I change min every 3500Km, due to the age of the car, and try to get the oil analysis done every other oil change, this is a service I get from Texaco.

This page is set apart for liquid replacements of our beloved Lancer. Oils suggested by us, are of very high quality (so, for most of them, do not expect low prices) so most protection are garanteed for mechanism. Some intervals for replacement oils are different from the owener's book (maintenance book) Mitsubishi.




Engine oil - Recommend replacement: every 5000 Km or 6 months

Factory and oil type
Oil specifications

Reccomanded Mitsubishi oil SAE 10W-30 / SE o superior
Castrol Formula RS SAE da 0W-40 a 10W-60 / SL-CF, ACEA A3/B3/B4
Lucas oil 100% synthetic SAE from 0W to 70W / API SM
Mobil 1 SAE from 5W-30 to 15W-50 / SL-CF
Motul 300V Competition SAE 15W-50 / >SJ-CF
Shell Helix Ultra - Racing SAE 10W-60 / >SJ-CF

Gearbox oil - Recommend replacement: 20000 Km or 2 years

AYC oil (it's different from differential) for torque transfer mechanism - Recommend replacement: 20000 Km or 2 years

Hydraulic piping fluid (in lagguage van on the right) - Recommend replacement: 20000 Km

Distillated water and ethyl alchol - 90%/10% You can buy the ethylalchol in farmacy or supermarket
Screen washer liquid

Distillated water with specific screen washer soap

update the necessary changes for turbo vehicles! many of us running turbo and i still indecisive of what i wana use when i changing, and im sure that im not alone

i noticed that u not recommending anyting castrol
my sis using castrol oils in her car( engine and transmission)
is anyting wrong wit d castrol?

Can anyone tell me if Royal Purple is a good oil to use in Nissan Xtrails?

There is nothing special about the X-Trail engine. Royal Purple should work just fine once it conforms to the API rating specified for your vehicle (your owner's manual should indicate the minimum API rating for the oil, for example, SH, SI or SJ).

whats wrong with castrol, magnatec, tranny oil and coolant, cuz thats all i buy for my car, amm, i see u didnt include in in nun of ur posts, and btw how do u knw if u have a cvt tranny or not...??

ohh i was just asking how come u did not include the castrol line of products in your listing ? eg castrol magnatec engine oil, castrol tranny fluid and castrol coolant,
