Went by Mileage Mack yesterday and saw they giving 10% discount if you have a Pricesmart card as well as TTARP, Beacon and Medicare.

Very cheap tyre but very poor in wet roads. You cannot take corners hard. In oda words them tire is not good

Srs?! I recently bought a set of these HF 805, 215-45-17 because they got really good reviews on tyrereview.co.uk. The reviews were similar/slightly better than the Maxxis Z4S Victra which i originally intended to buy.
I noticed they had AA traction rating and were priced at $500/tyre. The Maxxis were $650/tyre.
So far I haven't had any problems with them.

I guess it depends on vehicle and driving style. One guy who has a 1.5 Impreza told me it running good but he don't really drive hard anyway.

I'v been using them for some months nw...quiet, no problems with grip so far in wet conditions, ppl were laughin at me when i bought these tyres, i guess it's because they never heard of the brand but i wil definitely buy again!
Btw i'v used brands such as Bridgestone Potenzas, Goodyear F1 Eagle, Hankook Ventus V12 Evo before and these are really good tyres.

Most likely a very soft compound like the sailun and maxxis high performance tyres.
Good grip but finishes very fast.

Lol...was expectin this.
I didn't/wudn't rank Hi-fly with these tyres.
I hav 3 vehicles so i buy tyres regularly, i've tried them all... the Hankook and Goodyear i mentioned b4 were the best i've used, very quiet and excellent grip. The Potenza is also good but a bit noisy, wears out fast (threadware 180)
The point i was tryin 2 make: i was hesitant 2 try these tyres because of the low price etc but the performance surpassed my expectations!

have u ever tested them sir? if not, then hw can u compare? I've used lots of brand name/expensive tyres and these (Hi-Fly) hav given me what i want in a tyre; comfort, quiet, grip (Even i was shocked). Mayb they won't last, mayb it wud, but so far, so good. Like i said, i've jus been usin them for a short while nw an i jus wana giv an honest review/feedback on the tyre as there isn't much reviews out there ( i checked).

NR8, i got them @ shopboy, St. Magaret's junction, Claxton Bay.

The traction grades from highest to lowest are "AA","A","B" and "C". A tire graded "AA" has relatively better traction performance than a tire graded lower.

U also need to check the treadwear and temperature grade...a tyre with a higher treadwear grade should last longer that one with a lower grade. The temperature grades from highest to lowest are "A","B" and "C". A tyre with a temperature grade of A will run cooler than B or C.

I have actually. I currently use 225-45-17 Pirelli P-Zeros. Last two sets were Continental Sport Contact 3s and Good Year F1's before that on a 2.0 Galant.

Hi-Fly's understeer, screech under hard braking and are rather noisy in DRY conditions. Wheel would lose traction from simply driving off from a light in rainy weather. I have used them in 205-50-15 format on a CS3 Lancer. Sold them and fitted Kumho Solus KR21 instead.

If they suit your purposes, that fine but it's clear that your are not very demanding of them.

My 2c.

^^ To be be fair though I don't think the 15" you had would be the same model HiFly as the 17". That's like comparing Kumho Solus with the Ecsta line. Two diiferent applications.

What do u think of the Pirelli P-Zeros? I'v used them b4 and weren't particularly impressed.
Never used the Continental Sport Contact 3 but heard really good things about them, the Goodyear F1's however r probably the best i've driven on so far.

Where are you all getting Pirelli P-Zero, Continental Sport Contact 3 and Goodyear F1? Those are all used?

Ok, noted. I wasnt aware that there was a performance line...

Continental offered the best ride for me, soaked up the bumps quite well with less vibration transfer to the suspension, than the other two. I think its better suited for heavy cars.

The P-Zeros grip great but ride a bit hard imo. I have to use them at about 35 psi(cold) because they look under-inflated and feel iffy with any pressure less esp in front. Softest sidewall in the buch from my experience.

The F1's did well for the short time I had them, I'd like to try them from new. I found that they wore down quickly.

Tyre ratings are not regulated. Traction temp and threadwear differ between manufacturers
