I know a bit about it....as i developed an add on smart turbo controller in 2010 which I never commercialized because the auto market for performance add ons is heavily branded and I didn'thave the budgets to play at that level.

I prob. still have the schematics and designs for this DIY ECU but I never actually used one. It was useful for design analysis to make my own turbo ECU add on though.
