I should clarify, they are installed and have them about 2.5 yrs. I was just adding my experience with using them.

I had roadstone in my Almera. Came with the rims.
They best suited for burning in the road during protest.

Updating my experience with the Maxxis:

Have the 205/50/16 Z4S on my altis since november last year. Car drives mostly highway, alot of Grande to POS routine. I am not sure but lets safely say abt 22,000 + KM since purchase (with some spirited driving too lol). Handles excellent on dry roads even on speeds excess of 160km/h and handles great on wet surfaces at around 120 - 140km/h.

Tyres are approximately 50% life remaining now (im no expert but it still looks pretty good). Still handles great on dry roads, and handles good on wet surface at around 120km/h, as i dont push it when rain falls anymore (plus the speed limit thing).

I still highly recommend these tyres, for the price they are the best. I previously had dunlop sp 601 and they would have been smooth by now. Yes they make a lil noise but that's why u have a radio in your car. I will definitely buy again and recommend to others

Thanks for that review. I might try these tyres on the next change. Looking to get a few km out of the next set as opposed to raw grip.

Was going to buy some roadstone dark horse II 60 for my 280c. But after reading the comments, why is it so bad?

When you touch your brakes on a wet road and realise a hilux back bumper keep getting closer, thats when you'll regret it. Esp when you was doing 15km/h.
Fed up skate, fed up of noise etc.

Taxi drivers said they're great on the road. Wet/Dry conditions. Plenty traction.
