cleaning kit available at sherrif's on cipero st. san fernando. price ranges from $80 - $115. "at different places". i don't know who has, and at the best price right now.

basically the oil helps the dry fibers of the filter, 1) expanding them to make open spaces even closer, and 2) helping them cling to foreign matter.

Check car Boutique in St. James. Although last time I checked, they said that they ran out of K&N, was selling a "Simota" cleaning kit. Andy clarke, minicity, valpark should have it as well. :D

Got mine at Car Boutique in St. JAmes for $85. I didn't even know there was a subsitute for the K&N cleaning kit. Wouldn't bother buyin it tho. I would only use the original with a K&N filter.

Andy has all the time and i find Auto Image sells stuff way too expensive. Why bother when Andy's store is like a short walk away in the same mall.

I though the oil was to lubricate the upper gumshon valves of the slip-back intercooler rings ???
