Is it possible to register your own build vehicle?

Has anyone ever found out or tried to get a personally built vehicle registered?

I wonder if its possible to register a built chassis with an engine..that will be cool cuz den you can build and exact replica of an gtr34 chassis with engine..den register chassis..then transfer all body parts onto it and boom..legal gtr in yuh mc..op u go post yuh findings na
