QG18de engine swapped into a b12

Postby Dre1996 » September 10th, 2015, 8:13 pm

Hello tuners i have a 1990 nissan b12 in which i did an engine swap, i replaced the ga15s that i bought the car with and swapped it with a qg18de. I wanted to know what wires are needed to be connected to get the motor up and running. i dont have the b12 1990 fsm but i do have the 1989 pulsar fsm that i use as a reference. Also i have the pinout for the qg15/18 brain box with the wire colours and use. im also an electrical/electronics technician so once i know which wires i need the actual wiring wouldnt be hard. Please can someone help me?

My rear engine mount was modified slightly but all other mounts lined up perfectly, the left side axle i think came out of an n16 and no cutting was required and the right side axle worked back perfect also. I managed to wire the starting and charging circuits so the engine tumbles and the alternator works. Also the charge light and oil light but im stuck right there.
