Are LPG conversion kits for auto available locally?

does anyone know of any local dealer who imports/installs LPG kits for vehicles?

I don't think you will find any success with that given the Government's push being towards CNG and not LPG.

I suspect it is difficult! LPG systems works rather well on so many forklifts!
It is also accepted worldwide! yet in trini it is taboo!

One gallon of LPG contains less energy than a gallon of gasoline. The driving range of a propane vehicle is about 14 percent lower than a comparable gasoline-powered vehicle.

LPG is generally higher priced than other fuel alternatives such as CNG and gasoline.

Practically working with 300 psig will not be feasible and effictive. That is all my thought is.

Check out this link i've been doing some research my opinion LPG is better than CNG, One reason i like is you can get a donut tank that can fit into your spare tyre space and don't loose any trunk space, Just you will have to run with no spare :) but check out the video on ( How far can 60 litres of LPG run on a Toyota Hilux )

I know dealer that offerscng conversion kit and have no idea of lpg kit. Why are you looking for this costly fuel option?

Yea check ramco in cross crossing.. They do conversion to LPG

yeh, i used to work ramco and they have lpg in all company cars. they also selling the system for cars. cost is about 2500. you can giv them a call to confirm.
