Fuel Surge Tank Question.

Good day. Would like to know from those of you using surge tank set ups. Do you notice a more drastic drop in your fuel gauge level reading? I am assuming this more drastic drop will be due to the fact that the stock tank is fulling the fuel cell or am I wrong? Would like to have some feed back from guys with experince running this type of set up.

if you rail has a return it goes to the tank and the engine gets fuel from the surge or so my cousin has his setup. drastic drop on first fill once the surge is loaded no prob there. my opinion not professional.
