First question, what vehicle you running? CD4 accord?

I have the same engine.. It is basically the same as the US F22B2 which has been turboed many many times before.

Turboing on the SOHC non-vtec is actually easier than when you get into the vtec and DOHC heads. Yes you can do a head swap with the correct adapter plates etc but if you are turboing I don't really see the point.

This engine can easily be turboed and you do not actually have to drop the compression ratio assuming that you plan on tuning your turbo properly. It goes without saying however that you will likely have to run a colder plug (NGK 7 heat probably) and will need to be using premium gas. From a relatively basic turbo setup you can expect 225-250hp or so, but I have seen builds hit 300hp without costing an arm and a leg.

Finally, you will definitely need a manual gearbox as those automatics wont be able to handle the kind of torque you will be putting down..

It would work, yes.. I can't verify the quality of the kit because buying on ebay is always a hit or miss kinda scene, but the key is just looking at the turbo manifold. If you can afford a better turbo, go for it!

Our engines (non-vtec) have the 0-00-0 port spacing, so just look for that and you are good to go..

So the F22B2 Head and block is basically the same right? you think this kit would fit our engine?

Yep, that would all fit but I'm not really into no-name aftermarket parts. I can't vouch for the quality of this kit.

Usually I try to go original honda or stone (the company that makes most of the honda gaskets and seals) and when I can't get those I usually trust in fel-pro

No I never had on the accord so I'm not sure what to suggest.

Finding that sump gasket is a beyotch in Trinidad. I dropped the pan for the first time in the engine's life last yr (300,000km) and needed a new oil pan gasket and couldnt find it locally. Ended up ordering the entire stone bottom end seal kit online from these people

Includes all the crank seals etc

Alternatively, Fel-pro part # OS30632R should do you fine but thats just the oil pan gasket by itself

Do you know the location for the OBD II Plug/Jack to do a ECU Scan? sometimes when doing some spirited driving I see the Check Engine Light come on until I switch off the engine.

As far as I know, our cars are OBD1 btw, I was thinking OBD two until I was shown otherwise by Classic motors.

Check the right side of the front passenger footwell. Pull away the carpet and it should be under the glove box there. OBD1 ports are smaller than OBD2..

So, we got lame diagnostics, but on the flipside it makes ECU swaps a lot easier.. (to P28 or P08 etc)
When you are there, let me know what ECU you have..
