Water jet cutting is one of the most versatile cutting processes around. Well suited for high-performance metal cutting, water jet technology, when used with an abrasive additive, creates a clean, burr-free cut that does not require secondary finishing and does not leave a heat-affected zone.

simon14, spam?

Anyways, recently got a wastegate flange adapter made by qualitech with their waterjet. It's an expensive process, so I guess I'll have to see who has a CNC plasma cutter instead.

I think metal plate - aluminum, copper, zinc - or whatever alloy would weather, but would not be too hard for the jet to work. It is capable of slicing into metal or other materials using a jet of water at high velocity and pressure.
