Clamp Rubbers Inquiry

Postby sboo99 » August 18th, 2011, 3:46 pm

So I was told that my car needed the clamp rubbers replaced. I don't mind ordering the parts online, but I have no idea what to look for.

Is there a proper name for a clamp rubber? I need 2 for a CS2 lancer. Thanks for any help.

Never heard of a clamp rubber. Any idea where it's located on the vehicle?

It's located in the front of the vehicle. If I'm driving on flat (smoothly paved) road, no noise. If I'm going over a hump, no noise. But if the road is slightly uneven or if I take a hump slanted, i hear a kind of cracking noise from the front of my car.

I'm not sure what the clamp rubbers are for though :( (stabilizer bar or steering rack)
