VIGO Problem

Postby azlan » June 27th, 2011, 4:50 pm

Need some advice again !!!

I have a TBZ Vigo that is doing about 89000 kms.

The engine light came on when driving at high speeds and the diagonistic came up as the intake runner.

I had it serviced but the problem did not go away. I then cleaned the air flow sensor and the problem went away for a few months.

It now came back so I cleaned the air flow sensor again and did a tune up. But now I getting a delay when I mash the accelerator. Its like a one second delay then the van moves like normal.

This was not happening before the service. Do you all know waht may be causing this delay when accelerating?

Thanks alot.

No I dont have a K&N filter. I use the normal air filters for the vigo. I usually get SAKURA...

This seems to be common problem with the Hilux but noone seems to know how to permanently solve it.
