QG18 - advice needed....engine cuts off while driving

while driving the car a b15 qg 18 , the engine shuts off completly, sometimes it starts back normally and sometimes it gives sum trouble ( engine jus tumbling)...could it be 1 of those sensors or otherwise...? can any 1 relate to or give advise ..

Could be your cam or crank sensor. Get it scanned!!!

yep, had that same thing happen to me. it was one of the sensors.

was happening to me earlier last year.. turned out to be my airflow.. but check the sensors

get a good electrician to run a complete scan by first clearing the main computer. then c where it goes from there.

thanks turners,,,,got through ...it was the crank sensor that cause the car to cut off,,,but also needed to change the air flow sensor. it was also suggested to change the cam sensor also .....

Had that problem, cam and crank sensors needed to change. Reason why it was starting back sometimes is because the engine needs to cool down first
