transmission problem

i have a b15 ,when shifting from reverse to drive the gear take a 5sec to engage ,i change and check the transmission oil ,whats the problem thanks

5 sec, seems kind of long, if it's a momentary delay could be your shifter bushings, are there any noise or rough engagement.

Connected to the shifter, cheap easy fix for a mech.

Little advice when parking on an incline, pull up handbrake first until car doesn't roll and then put in park, when ready to move put in D or R then release handbrakes. :wink:

you reverse clutches is on the way out. put aside money for a tranny

I agree with clutches going,if was bushing you would be trying to "feel" for the gear.

^^^agree with you there, but still think there's a possibility of it being the bushings.
