tried the prestone 0-60 thingy over the weekend and i did notice slightly better acceleration

"Butt dyno" don't correlate here. Probably power of the mind more than anything.

Keep in mind that the Prestone additive comes with MMT. Do some research, and you'd see that it isn't the best thing for maintaining nice clean O2 sensors.

Fouled O2 sensors = not good for your mileage.

MMT seems to be poisonous and banned in certain countries. Wonder what the MSDS on the bottle says?

Ok, results from the Tiida, the redline make it run smother and it have a lil better milage. One thing I notice is that unlike other cleaners, I not getting a funny smell or even loss of power while it is being used. I actually find that the cars have a slight increase in power, and I not even using a full bottle, only two of the smaler doses!!. When I went by Kamraj in Debe, he said the chevron Techron is also a good cleaner, but I take the redline from him as it seems to be what people swear by...ok, what Dave say he use :). Anyone had similar success with the Techron?? Chevron advertises that they add this to their pump gas, so it should be safe to use and actually work right?

Redline is a great product. I tried a chevron treatment and noticed a significant difference.
it all depends on what additional stuff the treatment doing. some jus cleaning and others giving and octane boost as well. I dont really like prestone though...i always considered it to be a mediocre brand...just my thoughts :?

Dave wrote:amsoil would be abouts twice price of redline but it treats twice as more as the redline
redline maybe abouts $36-38
amsoil and still to get a price on it but it retails for $78

:wtf:

i have a 4 shot of Amsoil which i pay like approx $30 at Glens in Montrose
and a 8 shot (first time ah see dis size bottle) which i pay like approx. $80 at Sheriffs.

I have also bought this 4 shot bottle for $30 (4 oz), the bottle states it treats up to 40 gallons, add 1 oz to every 10 gallons. Amsoil does not sell this product in a 4 oz bottle so am I being ripped off?

Here is this email I sent to Amsoil.

>>>>>>
Does Amsoil Inc sell the Amsoil P.I. fuel additive in a 4 oz bottle? I have a bottle of the mentioned and on the bottle states 'treats up to 40 gallons, add 1 oz for every 10 gallons.' I checked all over the internet and I haven't seen this 4 oz bottle for sale, so I'm wondering if I bought a bootlegged bottle of the Amsoil P.I. Can you confirm?

We currently do not sell the AMSOIL Performance Improver in a 4oz bottle, we did however sell the performance improver in a small bottle back in the 1990’s, unfortunately I cannot confirm if it was in fact a 4oz bottle. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us further.

Max 44 is expensive but imo it works really well, the liqumoly http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/prod ... _5110.html has shown a noticeable difference when used.
